Thank you all for your prayers, unfortunately things didn’t go as we hoped. Smarty started to decline rapidly this evening and to avoid a lot of unnecessary pain we decided letting him go was what was best for him. The Lord really fancied up his front pasture today. I am so thankful that I got to enjoy Smarty. He played a big role in starting the relationship I have with my husband, and sometimes I feel like that’s why he was here. He had a the heart of a winner and the greatest “showoff” attitude. He hated the thought of getting in trouble, loved new shavings, and loved to go to the horse shows. He was really good about waiting on me and also making James hustle. One of a kind! From playing in the round pen this morning to gone. Enjoy your beauties while you have them.
